Winter connection schedule?

Does any one has a idea when the connection schedule for Winter12 will be loaded for LCCs

I have some work trips on 28th Oct and the LCCs have the best connections, but the flights are available only till 27th Oct.

Though Individual flights are available, they are not available as connections in the airlines websites.

If you know the retailer, tell him to leave the stupid global blue and premier checks in the drawer and instead issue you a refund document accepted by the UK taxman (a so called VAT 407 form). You get it stamped at exit by customs and mail it back to the retailer. He is then allowed to refund the entire VAT charged and just has to submit the papers to the tax authorities to explain why he is not sending them the VAT he was supposed to collect from you.

Whenever I take stuff to India for my mother I get the real VAT refund form stamped and then take the pains to get the full VAT refund not the silly checks where a middle man keeps half the refund amount. Of course this doesn't work at large retail stores, the staff there are too dumbed down to get into such paper work.

I recall you suggesting something like this long back in a Rimova thread..
I tried doing this in a store in Vienna and another in Prague and they claimed they are only allowed to issue the Global blue form !!! I told them no, they can issue another one but they were ignorant or maybe feigned ignorance :(
Oh yes, they play the language barrier quite well as soon as it gets a little out of the "standard" process ..

To be honest with you they are doing the extra paper work and most retailers charge £15 odd so that is reasonable. Its the ones that charge £40 which pisses me off.

Hmmm..
I guess many of them also get additional sales due to being able to give the tax free concession so they do get compensated one way or the other..
The other day, in BKK a shop didnt offer tax free..We had selected the stuff and were in advanced stages of payment when they informed us they don't have that facility.. It was a hit of 7% for us so we negotiated and they gave a discount of 7% from the bill amount itself to ensure the sale..

I should be in NYC this weekend. I am assuming the unlocked iphone 5 is not out yet?

oliver2002 Sep 19, 2012 9:19 am

Considering the new iphone is positioned just to be a replacement, I would assume you can just buy it unlocked once it hits the stores. :p
