I see your earlier comment too. I booked IB with LANPASS kms, Found my IB PNR but it did not let me see anything on IB website. Worked on the BA website though, passed me back to IB and I could see the seat map. Couldn't change anything online but could tell it was new J

I have a question about economy seating on the new A340 config.
I am fllying MAD-LAX on 29/8 and this is marked as 345, which I understand to be the new seating. I am flying eco though and trying to work out best seats. The IB online seatmap shows rows 25/40 as exit rows, but other diagrams (seatguru etc) show different. Do they operare different layouts of this, does anyone know which rows are the exit / extra legroom ones?

I recently flew MAD-GRU and GRU-MAD on 345. Really liked the hard product, although it would be nice if the seat was just a tad wider. I am 183cm and have broad shoulders... Was able to sleep both ways. For a solo traveler I'd really recommend window seats like 5A and 7L. If you sit next to the aisle, there's always the chance that someone will bump into your legs when you are sleeping. And the curvature of the plane means that you have some extra space next to your legs.
I was not too happy with the food (both beef and fish were too dry), but wine selection was quite nice. At least different from what I usually get. Service was friendly, but there were some mishaps in timing of different things etc.

Not that I'm too bothered as we both like the old seats. I suppose EZE despite being a twice daily service is obviously not seen important enough to get it sooner rather than later. Still loads of time for that to change right enough.

Thanks for the confirmation.
A bit of a difficult one, but does anyone know how much they're changing things as the day of the flight arrives? I see A340-500 for a flight I'm considering booking, but all the ones up to it are appearing as the old aircraft on expertflyer (which I figured out in the end).
