Avoid the issue altogether by forging your own Credit Suisse business cards and ID badge.

I was asking specifically about the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, not Park Hyatt (which is old and run down anyway and should be avoided). I know Andaz Tokyo doesn't really care nor check.

you should delete your post - way too many specifics
no unauthorized code is inherently more risky than others
some hotels check and some hotels don't
a particular hotel may offer an extraordinary discount on a certain code, while other hotels give a standard 10 to 20% discount on the same code
extraordinary discounts may be under more scrutiny than standard 10 to 20% discounts
Asia hotels generally, China in particular, check frequently
Europe hotels generally check moderately
US & MX hotels never check, in my experience
Higher-end hotels check more than cheaper hotels

Like most hotel chains, Hyatt offers various kinds of discounts. For example, AAA (American Automobile Association) or Senior rates. Hyatt also offers corporate discounts. While it may seem reasonable to try to discover these corporate discount codes on the internet, they actually come from your corporate travel department. So, your question "What is the discount code for Hyatt?" is absolutely a valid question. In order to get a valid answer, ask your corporate travel department.

Goldman friends - anyone know what the GS corporate code is for Hyatt? I've got our codes for Marriott, Starwood, IHG if any GS employees need them.
