For the Hyatt Certs expiring 12/31 can I stay on 12/31 and checkout 1/1?

Just called and was provided 10,000 points each for 2 expiring 1-4 free night certificates (1 was credit card and 1 was milestone award earned in 2019). I was only provided 1,000 points for each expiring club access award as an Explorist. I mentioned that I read online others receiving 3,000 points and the agent explained that the amount provided is evaluated/based on the individual member and they cannot comment on what was provided to other members. Was told the same when I tried to get the difference to 3,000 points via chat for the club access awards.

I got denied on a Cat 1-4 ending 12/31. They told me to come back after expiration, which is always a bit of a risk, but no chance I'll use it at this point, so I'll try on or after 1/1.

I'm an Explorist. I called WoH today to convert my four expiring Club Access Award to points. Was offered 2,000 points per award. I asked about the 3K offer mentioned by some elsewhere, but 2K was all the rep could do. I accepted the 2K offer.

Called my Concierge, but she wasn't available, so got the next one. She offered 2K for each of the club passes and extended my cat 1-7 for 6 months. She also extended 2 expiring TSU till 2023. Had to push a little on the TSU she was only willing to do 1.

Calling Concierge line and seem to be busy... still waiting after 15 mins....... wonder if many of us are calling now (midnight eastern time) 
Finally got through and the CSR was willing to give me 500 pts per club access award (as per guidelines) which I turned down based on what I am reading here. Waiting for my Concierge to reply to my email and hoping I will get more. She was able to extend 2 of my 4 TSUs (also as per guideline) to Feb 2023 which I took. To be honest, I think 3000 points is way too much for a club access award so not sure how some here are getting 3K. If I can't get 3 or even 2K, I will take what they give me.

Globalist with 90+ nights YTD, reached out via twitter and got an offer of 500 per club cert, 10k per expiring Cat 1-4, and extensions of suite awards. Very odd that they want us to haggle rather than just extending those damn things like all the other chains.

Waited on chat for about an hour this morning; the offer was the 500 per Club Access Award (I have seven expiring on 12/31). Agent was a little snippy when I asked if that was the best they could do. Anyhow, I took it. I'm Globalist-lite for 2022 FWIW.
