I am a Globalist and initiated contact about converting my expiring club access awards. I have 8 expiring on December 31 and 4 more on February 28, 2022. I've never used one of these awards so 3,000 points each for 4, 8 or 12 of my expiring awards would be amazing.

Well the only way to get a 12/31 date on a Club Award is from the extension.
You’d have 4 expiring 2/28/2020 AFAIK those were not extended because the pandemic wasn’t made official until March of 2020.
You’d have 4 expiring 2/28/2021 which were extended to 12/31/21.
Thats the only ones that are possible so I guess I see no logical way one could have 8 expiring on 12/31/21 unless you can elaborate.

The recent messages in this thread about converting certs to points make me think Hyatt is selling cars. Sheesh, you think they'd be consistent.

Take this data point with a grain of salt.
I will certainly not try that. At best I expect they would eventually claw back all the points, at worst they will close the account and you'd lose everything, including status.
I asked for 25K points for each of my 4 unused Club Access Award expiring 12/31/21. They offer only 500 points. I accepted the offer and called back 50 times; each time getting the same offer and accepting it. I now have an additional 100K points in my account. It took the whole day, but was well worth it! How was this possible? Because they don't actually remove the expiring Club Access Awards from my account and each phone agent never checked my account activity history.
