FYI, We got free room offer from RIO since we signed up their reward program. Called and confirmed, resort fee wont be waived, even for Globalist, since its NOT a Hyatt offer, but a RIO offer.
Yeah, thats not what were talking about at all.

We were discussing coding for Chase.

Interesting to me to see how far people push things. But I guess thats what America is all about, complain and make it someone elses fault you dont want to or will not follow the rules. Honestly I thought some of the posts on this thread about people trying to push the limits of the breakfast benefits could have been overblown, after seeing what I saw today, all I can say is, probably a majority of them are real.
Incredibly tacky

I know the ones where it says One night deposit due at booking those are processed by the property. But rates like Members Advance purchase rate things like that I think are Hyatt, I could be wrong though.
All pre-payments, deposits or otherwise, are taken locally at the property on their front desk merchant account.

Intresting, I was offered 3 free nights from rio rewards after my last trip and I asked on property if they would still waive resort fee and they said yes 🤷‍♂️😀 I guess I will have to double check again

Interesting. Maybe double check on your RIO offer. The guy on the phone said, if resort fee will be waived, it would state on the offer. Or if your RIO rewards has reached the higher tired status to waive the RF.

At HH now with my BF, asked if we can order the French Toast from kid menu. The answer is no 🤣. I understand kid can not order adult menu, due to the price would be higher. But not the the way around to even save them money? lol

These were probably the local globalist abusers from back in March and April, where 1 person ordered 4 entrees to go, they thought even now they have to dine in they could still order 4 entrees and doesn't matter adults or kids

I was there even from end of March and throughout April, was a complete mad house at hash house, there was much more way more you didn't see in this thread

My recent breakfasts at Hash House was not as good as previously served. I was here in April and the breakfasts were amazing. Did any of you notice the different on the quality? The fruits didn't feel fresh at all. The OJ tasted different now. Just wondering.

I will check. I would rather book via hyatt if I stay since I need a few more EQNs for globalist renewal but well see how the price develops, I am in vegas for a mileage run anyways so better to double up 😂

In case if you're feeling generous and want to add more. But in reality, it's probably programmed to print on every check.

As far as I hear, RIO will become a Hyatt Regency. If thats the case, club lounge is the standard amenity. Id prefer club lounge, but its only base on my good experience with Hyatt Regency on Waikiki & Maui (before COVID). Time will tell.
The Regency brand no longer has a requirement to have a lounge. Many that used to have a lounge pre-COVID are switching to restaurant and/or take-and-go counter service concept. There's a FT thread tracking that.

Closing Thoughts

No its prob not your imagination in my perception.
Had my final stay/ checkout today and had breakfast @ Hash House this morning.
Here are my thoughts and observations.
The place was empty.Likely 8 tables taken in the whole entire restaurant.
They probably aren't doing the business with or without Globalists @ present and they weren't
very busy coming into this past weekend either
Likely they aren't turning over the product and trying to use what products up they can before pitching them.
Sad.The Hash House is/was better in San Diego by far from my memory.

I had the scrambled eggs & potatoes (under the new Globalist Marshall law menu
and my family member had a waffle and seemed fine with it.Looked good.
My eggs were overcooked and better than powdered eggs out of a steam table.
The previous biscuit I had on the previous stay was stricken/removed from the plate forbidden
on the new streamlined Globe menu.Couldn't care less but I know for fact others will.

We tipped and extra 6 dollars cash over the 6 plus dollars that was automatically applied to the check.
@ checkout the VIP lounge was closed. The FD agent insisted I pay for the second tip the restaurant applied on its own.
I showed a screen shot of the receipt and she agreed to remove the second gratuity hesitantly
Based on what I paid for the room I deserve no breakfast but that isn't the point is it?

Final thoughts the breakfast is fully adequate for those desiring simplicity and something basic
However when you want variety or something else after staying multiple days the menu becomes a crashing bore
They won't be seeing me dining there again
Just not my kind of place I don't feel a good vibe anywhere on the property to be honest.
Some look miserable working there. With Hash House servers being ok.

On behalf of my fellow Globes I ask Hyatt to improve the options and let others pay the difference
with a $ credit if not wanting to order off the Globalist menu.
Granted one can order side items and pay a separate check but if you want to switch out an entree your $#it out of luck
That said the best value ever in Las Vegas for a room is Rio with an upgrade as a Globe

I enjoyed experiencing Rio to see what Hyatt and its partner is up too and see value for those looking to cut expenses
No further comments expected from me!
For some that may be a relief

Around what time did you check out today? The agent I spoke to made a point of asking how breakfast was and when I said it was fine she had some feedback about how she thought the menu was perfectly adequate.

You had some meat, some eggs, some fruit, some eggs right? I dont see what more you could want. Felt very prompted by a previous interaction.

I also want to know which of you guys got greeted by name by every single server as you walked to your table.

Hi drmilescrane -

I get greeted by name every time. I sit at the bar.

And I greet them by name too. They are all nice people, but Bobby goes above and beyond.

And I come here 1-2x a month now. I have clients in Las Vegas and the Rio is my new go-to place. Clients actually appreciate that I try to keep expenses to a minimum.

And yes, I fly Frontier too.

Check out ? Why do you need to check out to begin with ? Was there discrepancy on your bill ? If not you don't ever need to go to the front desk to check out in any casino properties, just drop your room card in the collection box, no different than MGM or Caesars
