Challenge/Status match-driven validity periods for elite status are separate from elite status validity periods gotten from regular qualification for elite status via stays.

When I went through the match in Jan my status remained unchanged at Explorist expiring 29 Feb 2020 and I received 4 more Club Access Awards also expiring 29 Feb 2020 (in addition to the 4 I received at soft-landing from Glob to Explor and the 4 I received for M-Life matching last year, all expiring 29 Feb 2020).
But looking at my account today, it is showing that I have received 8 Club Access Awards that expire 29 Feb 2020 and 4 that expire 28 Feb 2021. So apparently at some point the expiration of the 4 I received for the M-Life match in Jan was updated and extended for another year. No complaints, but can't say I understand how this works.

For some accounts, I’ve noticed the same sort of thing. And with some such accounts, club awards redeemed were pulled in part from the bunch with a 2021 expiration instead of the bunch that were expiring in 2019 but which are now instead showing as expiring in 2020. Even if the expiration dates were just in 2019 and in 2020, pulling the newer awards instead of the older awards just seems messed up as these were for stays completed in February of this year.

How can you tell which have been pulled? My account shows 12 earned, 7 redeemed, 5 available, and then when I expand it shows total earned 8 expiration Feb 29, 2020 and total earned 4 expiration Feb 28, 2021, but no where can I see which have been redeemed and which are available.

Same with our accounts re the new expiry date. I must say when I saw this thread and then went to check, it made my day. I am grateful they've extended b/c I've got a trip summer 2020 and was not planning to return to my favorite Hyatts b/c wouldn't have these awards. Now they'll get my money!
Speaking of "far out" rez. Any way to make a rez more than 13 months out (I need 18 months out)? Website is only going that far. I see a category change about to happen.

Today I tried matching my wife's account. Explorist membership was extended to February 28, 2021. However, she did not receive any additional club lounge passes, and the four passes she had previously remain with an expiration of February 29, 2020.
My account matched before March 1st now has Explorist membership to February 29, 2020, four club lounge passes that expire on February 29, 2020, and four club lounge passes that expire on February 28, 2021.
So clearly, matching before March 1st was the way to go.

When I originally did the match on Feb 23rd, my Explorist status was extended until February 28, 2021 as well but the 4 club lounge passes I received showed an expiration date of Feb 29, 2020. When I logged in again on Feb 25th, it showed that my Explorist status would now expire on February 29, 2020 but my 4 club passes would expire on February 28, 2021. I took screenshots just in case but I doubt theres anything they can (or will) do about it. Very strange but I'd rather take the extended club passes anyways
