Edit: I just got off the phone with Hyatt. The promo only shows on the front page of Hyatt.com if you have a European IP address. It is a website glitch and they have reported it to IT. I think that the downtime last year was perhaps not quite enough to put the website's myriad issues to rest...

Can't Make Online Reservations
After being signed in, I try to complete a new reservation and find out that my State and Country are blank and the website won't let me fill in the blank. Same problem at work or on home computer.
Also, can't change room preference in Profile. Get error message.

It's great here we are providing beta testing and Q&A for hyatt IT for free...
New issue (got it since december) : when i book on the website i receive 2 emails : one confirmation and another one 2 minutes after (change of reservation) but at the end nothing new in the second email, the reservation is the same.
Hyatt IT is kind of magic

I'd rather get 3 emails than no emails. And I would rather they fix the more pressing issues than duplicate emails.

in multiple threads I am reading about bugs on hyatt.com - triple e-mails, expired awards popping up, billions of points needed for an award night... I'm almost daily on hyatt.com.
How come as a Diamond, with 13 upcoming reservations, I never experience any of this???...
everything works just perfectly with hyatt.com, except that down times are a bit common...

There are lots of FTers who don't know how to clear their cache, and Hyatt's web team doesn't understand that defective cookies with no expiration date live forever.

Yes, this may be part of the problem as it seems to be inconsistent among those who post here. I have an occasional problem, others seem have constant problems.

Great that you don't have any issues, but it's not a reason to deny that others can get.
The main problem right now is not about the issues, it's about how Hyatt manage the things. Even here their concierge is almost silent (used to be very active as i remember). So lake of communication + lake of efficient client support + silent makes people even more upset.

I can't say I've had any issues either. My account survived just fine after the update, and I made and cancelled 2 reservations without any issue at all.

I'm onboard a flight right now and am trying to nail down my travel schedule for the next month or two. Thought it would be easy, then again, we are dealing with Hyatt IT.
