No private line. I just called the number on the back of the Diamond card. I am located in London though so that might be why this happens for me.

Edit: I just got off the phone with Hyatt. The promo only shows on the front page of Hyatt.com if you have a European IP address. It is a website glitch and they have reported it to IT. I think that the downtime last year was perhaps not quite enough to put the website's myriad issues to rest...

Can't Make Online Reservations

After being signed in, I try to complete a new reservation and find out that my State and Country are blank and the website won't let me fill in the blank. Same problem at work or on home computer.

Also, can't change room preference in Profile. Get error message.

Thumbs down One more hyatt bug : 2 emails for each reservation

It's great here we are providing beta testing and Q&A for hyatt IT for free...

New issue (got it since december) : when i book on the website i receive 2 emails : one confirmation and another one 2 minutes after (change of reservation) but at the end nothing new in the second email, the reservation is the same.

Hyatt IT is kind of magic ))

What is your problem? You work for hyatt? it's a forum no? The rule is to say only positive things about how amazing are the properties? I don't think so.

So, you like it or not i share my experiences, problems and positive things when they happens. If it's a problem for you, don't read the related posts.

I'd rather get 3 emails than no emails. And I would rather they fix the more pressing issues than duplicate emails.

You are right ... but 3 emails and none with the request done on the phone (use of diamond suite award)... the 4rd is the right one after a request.

Agree with you, they are more pressing issues... to say at least

in multiple threads I am reading about bugs on hyatt.com - triple e-mails, expired awards popping up, billions of points needed for an award night... I'm almost daily on hyatt.com.
How come as a Diamond, with 13 upcoming reservations, I never experience any of this???...
everything works just perfectly with hyatt.com, except that down times are a bit common...

I'm pretty much the same- few problems other than unexpected down times., which Hyatt just has to address.

There are lots of FTers who don't know how to clear their cache, and Hyatt's web team doesn't understand that defective cookies with no expiration date live forever.

Yes, this may be part of the problem as it seems to be inconsistent among those who post here. I have an occasional problem, others seem have constant problems.

Cookies... clean up history can help... but will never help the credit card massive fraud issues (3 cards in my case) and the lake of consideration from them (they keep very silent) + some very weird things on their app (reservations appears for the same day / same city / different hotels when booking a night... but are not present in the website) + hotels without any connection to GP (they can't even check the status... they have to call the hotline) + a lot of other things describe on different posts.

Great that you don't have any issues, but it's not a reason to deny that others can get.

The main problem right now is not about the issues, it's about how Hyatt manage the things. Even here their concierge is almost silent (used to be very active as i remember). So lake of communication + lake of efficient client support + silent makes people even more upset.

I can't say I've had any issues either. My account survived just fine after the update, and I made and cancelled 2 reservations without any issue at all.

I'm onboard a flight right now and am trying to nail down my travel schedule for the next month or two. Thought it would be easy, then again, we are dealing with Hyatt IT.
