I am here right now. First ever visit to Conrad Tokyo.
First impressions of the hotel : Very impressive.
One of my top favorites (not just in Hilton Chain).
Someone is asking for the new exec lounge photos, so I took the side of the new lounge that has the Bay view (and overseeing Hamarikyu Gardens). (Can't compare with the older lounge so I have no idea).
I shall let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Thanks for the pictures.
No more fireplace in the lounge?

The lounge is split into 2, with the corridor walkway in the middle. I was sitting at the bay side when i arrived. Will check the city view side n see if there is a fire place later.

Oh wow, they're doubling the space and I assume the existing city side lounge is still used?

I have never been there before, but yes, there is still the city side view seating (not sure if this side is same or reduced), and yes, the fire place is still around and working!

can anyone please tell me if ¥36,015(ex tax/service fees) per night on a twin suite is worth locking in a non refundable rate?

Really depends on your risk tolerence. Barring a ridiculous error rate, I would almost never book a nonrefundable rate no matter how cheap…and I don't consider over 40000 yen a night for a suite here to be super cheap.

Personally, I avoid nonrefundable rates. Too many things can happen that could result in a total loss.

looking at Hilton properties in Tokyo, would anyone know which (if any) allows Diamond benefits to be applied to 2 rooms ? or ideally 3

Will be travelling to Conrad soon. Booked a stay for my wife and I but now two young kids will be with us. Are there doubles or are they 2 twin beds?
I see they list a rollaway charge of 7,000 yen

I believe they are twin beds but can fit two average-sized adults. How old are your kids? They shouldn't have a problem fitting on the bed.
