I changed my password about a week ago. I just went to book a hotel and the website told me my account was locked due to too many failed login attempts.

So I went to reset it and didn't get the reset email

Went to my mobile to use the app, seems to work fine although it cannot update my upcoming stays. Searched for the same hotel, clicked to book it and it took my to my name and details for the booking, then went back and hung.

I wonder if this is password troubles or just general Hilton weekend IT meltdown

Were we supposed to create a new user name, too? I thought it was just changing the password...

No, just changing your password is all that was requested. It appears usernames are optional and changeable (which isn't the case with many systems).

I was able to change my password and log in using the new password and account number. I was not able to add a log on name or update the expiration date of my credit card.

Has anyone actually seen the 1000 bonus points post to their account? I changed my password a couple of weeks back and am yet to see the bonus post to my account.

I couldn't say: I changed my password two weeks ago, and now I can't get into my account. Type this long captsha I can't read, copy paste some long text string into a box. I give up. Booked something with IHG for now. Gotta call Hilton on Monday when they feel like answering the phone.

UPDATE: I was able in log in without seeing the "impossible-to-read" captsha when I disabled the "Privacy Badger" anti-tracker add-on in Firefox. Hilton requires web trackers to guess that I'm logging in at my home PC>

Now that I have got my password changed on HH webpage, my mobile App threw me out with an error message and only lets me in with the old password.
I hope they fix this soon. Not well managed.

Just made some reservations... nothing shows up in my account, no past stays, no future stays... and no confirmation emails for the new reservations (I didn't write the confirmation numbers down...)

Just changed my password but when I tested it, it didn't work and neither did my old one. Had to reset my password and then do it all again but it worked the second time round.
