How ironic! mine is also the same and an ex LHR car. I remember it came in a month ago on a one way as the customer had to bring it in, had done 20k miles so head office I was told was not happy but it was not my branches fault so now its to keep! Alot of them will be released on lower bookings now to start shifting back up towards the defleet site up North somewhere!

The A4 was pretty much new (5k miles, though I added 500 in three days), and by ex-LHR I meant that I took it out of LHR.

Anyway, I returned it last night and as I didn't have time for the bus home, I found that the cheapest way to get home was... to rent another car.

So now I have a Kia Cee'd 2 1.6 automatic estate - no ball of fire but a decent enough car for a few days' pootling, though not the upgrade I'd expect from a 'C'.

Edit: even though the key fob says 'E' the rental agreement says J2 - so it's actually in a higher class than the group I Audi!

Slightly OT but y'all might enjoy:

I had a dream the other night that I was picking up at RDU. The location was more of a ghetto back lot that could have doubled as a chop shop... on a B reservation I got some kinda Fiat 4-door with an 8-speed automatic transmission I wasn't impressed though and since I am PC the agent said I could take any car on the lot! The yellow Camaro was on cinderblocks so I was walking towards a green Impala Limited when I finally woke up.

Yikes...

Yes: S4 - Infiniti QX80

Tried to change for something smaller, and was told it was the Infiniti or a 43k-mile Maxima that had just come back in. Was also offered a 2015 Mustang convertible but they can be quite hard work on the highway - although the QX80 is so big that I'm slightly regretting not just taking the Maxima or even an Altima that they had in gold choice (although a 2.5S isn't really being a high roller!)

Yes: B4 - Kia Sportage

Didn't want an SUV, so took a Cruze LTZ with 15k miles from Gold Choice (also had several Malibus, a number of Elantras, etc). I continue to really like the Cruze, and the LTZ trim is very comfy. Car had 15k miles, but looked and drove like new. Averaged better than 30mpg too.

Nice, was just returning the Audi today - 10 days @ £8 a day cant be wrong can it! Heard they had some BMW 1 Series on a one way to them and just had some Yaris delivered which are also Auto.

Think I am going to have to try bribe someone to keep me a 1 series this week

Damn that's a good rate! I've come very close to that but can't quite match it.

I've driven an auto Yaris Hybrid - perfectly good at what it's designed to do, which is to be a car for people who hate driving. I can't imagine that's your sort of thing to be honest - although it'll be nice to see some BMWs in the fleet.

Oh and I took the Inifniti back yesterday and am now driving a Chrysler 300C, which I like much better!
