Wow, you are so lucky! 2 days ago someone on TripAdvisor also reported similar outcome, ditto yesterday.

I submitted my last night around 8;30pm EST. Dossier still in the Edit State when I checked a couple hours ago, to replace the itinerary PDF file from only the outbound because I have 2 one-way tickets, to a PDF file with both tickets on it.

OTOH, it seems CDC card and the Canadian equivalent are accepted 98% of the time. Hotels replied the CDC card is OK. As far as I read, Louvre, Orsay and Versailles all take CDC card. I cannot imagine there are some smallish museums insist the QR code to let you in... Money talk!

It’s still en construction.

According to the statistics page, we’re up to 98,712 submitted requests, with 11.833 either in processing or finished processing. (There are only 107 requests total in processing, so the vast majority have finished processing.)

This means they have received 6,229 requests in the past day and processed 2,598 requests.

The quoted P90 turnaround time has increased to 12 days. This makes me think that they’re primarily processing older requests each day, despite the reported random folks receiving same-day approval.

My reasoning for this is they explain the P90 metric as “of the processed requests in the past thirty days, what was the wait time of the request at the P90 percentile?”

Quote:

Usually, files for this process are processed within X days.

This estimate is calculated automatically from the processing times observed on 90% of the requests that were processed during the last 30 days. The actual deadline may be different, depending on the type of approach (for example for a call for projects with a fixed decision date).

- Google Translate of explanation of P90 metric from request website.
Thus, for the P90 turnaround time to be 12 days, at least 10% of the processed requests must have a turnaround time of 12 days or greater. Thus, they must have completed at least 1,183 requests which had waited for 12 days or more. That was probably only possible for them to do today, so it looks like at least half the requests are coming off the backlog.

I applied on Monday night (CDT), and as of Friday morning still have not heard anything back. File is still en construction. Getting a little worried as reading many reports of approvals coming in hours or one day for many. Is there anything else I can do? Cancel and reapply? Supposed to arrive in Paris tomorrow.

My plan was to visit pharmacies starting with the ones reported as willing to issue the pass.

I applied august 28th with a September 12th arrival date and received my pass a few hours ago.

A paper CDC card is better than a pass sanitaire

I applied on Aug 28th, arriving on Sept 16th and mine (and spouse's) arrived this morning.
On TripAdvisor, there's a lot of discussion of the application number and whether that means anything in terms of the order received/processed.
As a reference point, ours started with 534XXXX

I don’t travel until October 30th. Is it too early to apply?

I went back and looked at the timing of the emails.

I received the notice that it was being examined at 1:20am (PDT):
Dear Sir or Madam,
Your application (no. 534XXX) has been received. It will now be examined by the appropriate department.

I then received the notice that it was done and I could download it at 1:22am (PDT):
Dear Sir or Madam,

You can download your French COVID certificate from the following address:

So, it seems there's very little time required in terms of validating the application.

It's not too early. I'm not traveling to France until mid December (but I wanted an EU pass for trips to Portugal and Spain in the next 7 weeks). I applied on August 29, and received my certificate early this morning (Dossier no. 534XXX).

What date did you say you were "arriving in France" on your application?
Thanks!
