I applied for the pass sanitaire(in French) around Aug 28. On Sept 1, already landed in France, I got an email saying the French dept in charge of this was overwhelmed and to go to the new website. I filled out the forms again & attached a passport photo , CDC QR photo, Covid card photo, flight details photo. I received an automated reponse email immediately. Shortly thereafter I received an email w/a dossier #, and instructions on how to add/change the file. Nothing since then. So far, only BHV, the Paris department store, has asked for a pass and they accepted the CDC printed QR code. Just to be on the safe side, I packed a two rapid test kit from Walgreen's in my carry-on, since a 72 hr test will be required for re-entry at JFK on my return. I'm due to attend MOM on the 9th at the Hall des Expositions, where a QR is required, but antigen tests are also available. Given a lot of experience in the past w/the French bureaucracy, I'm just waiting to see what happens next.
Who issued your CDC card with the QR code? |

Slightly tangential, but I'm not aware of any drugstores that sell the supervised test in store. That may be a local limitation though. Are you certain you purchased the rapid kits which use the smartphone app and have you do a video call with a nurse for the test? The self administered kits without that feature do not qualify for US return cert. I'm asking only because I got bit by this specific issue...though thankfully before I left.

The online form to request the conversion of a CDC card ask for a copy of a plane ticket. Exactly what will satisfy this requirement?

That said.. has anyone had any luck with getting the Pass Sanitaire lately? I have a friend who has been waiting weeks, and has even landed in Europe at this point. I assume they basically deleted everyones emails, and you have to start again with the new website (which, is well done I might add). |
I’m sorry but my AA confirmation only includes a record locator along with dates and destination - which is Paris. I do not have an e-ticket and would not have one until 24 hrs ahead. I have a travel companion also on same record locator. Unsure whether that will confuse the issue and there is no way to break the record apart. Both ticket numbers are listed on this email - which I guess will have to be uploaded but it is several pages.

I'm not sure if you're saying you don't actually have a confirmed reservation on a specific flight for some reason but that's a unique situation it's hard to predict how they'll handle. |
Anyone (among the lucky ones who got the QR code) notice that the name seems to be reversed? It is written as LAST First and that is also how it's stored in the QR. Could this cause any problem? I noticed because I was trying to add it to the German Luca app and it said that there was a name mismatch. Once I reversed the name in the account info in Luca it worked, but now the name there is shows as First: LAST, Last: First.

LAST First is how it is indeed supposed to be displayed, as you can see in the Sample provided
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...014ca66bcb.png For example, the Hungarian version also prints the last name first, but the digital data in the QR code displays the last name as last. |

It allows you to print an actual ticket receipt with your ticket numbers, versus just printing out the copy of the reservation from the website. I usually do this because everything fits onto a single page whereas the reservation printout via the AA website uses several pages. |
