Great tier earning for BA program?

Like now BA is selling LHR-HEL-LHR J for 250£

Short-haul. AY is typically the most expensive of all 3 carriers for HEL-LON-HEL, and the reciprocal AY/BA code-share fares on that route are a bad joke.

Does anyone know when AY started axing IVL flights for the autumn seasons? Not so far as 7 years ago there were at least 3 dailies to IVL but now it seems only one and not even that on daily basis. Has the "ruskaretki" company trips seized to exist or what has happened? The planes were also quite full. Norwegian likely has eaten the demand but they only fly during winter season, not in autumn.

And, naturally no award availibility either in autumn as the tix are insanely high priced.

You'd be the judge, but 22 r/t will get you GGL. Rather effortless compared to the Lumo running, n'est-ce pas?

This is getting OT, but how one gets GGL with 22 HEL-LHR returns? GGL first time qualification is 5000 TPs and HEL-LHR-HEL return in CE earns 160 TP so that is 32 returns.

Sorry, my mistake. I had the 3500 TP threshold in mind (which is not GGL)

Still, 32 r/t is effortless compared to LGG's normal running.

These cancellations are needed to manage the impacts of the recent suspension of group travel by Chinese authorities, which have a pronounced impact on the load factors of our Beijing Daxing and Nanjing flights,” says Jaakko Schildt, Chief Operating Officer, Finnair
So they open new routes on China mostly based on chinese tourists...

As these are done purely on a commercial basis, they are EC261 eligible. It will be interesting to see how AY handles compensation requests.

They will still fly to PEK so rerouting PKX pax will be easy.
