IT type questions.
Last night I changed flights using the Chat support but the app is still showing the old ones. When should I expect the change to filter through to the app, if at all? Is there the ability to Manage Bookings on the app and if so, where will I find it? |

Did you try to change flights in MMB with a browser? Those changes are instant but that usually won’t work if you have a cancelled leg on your booking.

Is there a reason why I only can book oneways on the BER-HEL-LHR route on the website. I can book booth ways - but only as oneways as said.

One of the strange things of AY ticketing, they simply don't want some business.
Sometimes it is because they did not publish a fare for that. (meaning your one-way might be a combination of two one-way-fares) And in the days of multi-city booking there was some kind of rule a ticket could never go via HEL more than once. Sometimes you can redeem on routes where you can't buy a ticket, so check if award is possible. -- Added It is like they have forbidden connections in HEL if the route is just slightly longer than a direct. Example: They sell ARN-HEL-PRG. They don't sell CPH-HEL-PRG They do offer award CPH-HEL-PRG |
We know that they don't sell BER-HEL-RVN-HEL-BNE ticket either ;)

There's a good reason: The businetic passengers would disappear into thin air.

It's probably because BER-LHR direct is shorter than both BER-HEL and HEL-LHR. Compare with ARN-HEL-PRG vs CPH-HEL-PRG that someone mentioned above. ARN-HEL is shorter than ARN-PRG, so ARN-HEL-PRG gets booked as "outbound" (allowing PRG-HEL-ARN as "return"). CPH-PRG is shorter than both CPH-HEL and HEL-PRG, so CPH-HEL gets booked as "outbound" and HEL-PRG as "return" (disallowing PRG-HEL-CPH as "return"). |

On the positive side, my points from flights flown 04MAR had posted this morning (06MAR). I don't think AY points have ever posted so fast. :tu:

The Nordic Sky wifi portal states:
”Nordic Sky Chat Unfortunately Finnair chat is not available at the moment. New chat will be opened later this year.” I remember this text from 2019. |
