What flaws?

But as we all know, diamonds are a girls best friend, closely followed by platinums and golds

Um, no. The SE/FI border in Haparanda/Tornio is quite dramatic, with a big customs house watchiing over the E4 that no nefarious truck cross into the country. You even have to slow down for cameras to scan you.

But 200m north of that there is a mall right on top of the border: Rajalla På Gränsen and of course the famous golf course you mentioned. Taxpayers money well spent.

Ok my experiences are mainly from childhood when we visited Tornio in summer and walked to the Swedish side to buy licorice ice cream in ICA supermarket... The best part was the DC-9 ride to the tiny Kemi-Tornio airport.

It looks the border still doesn't bother the locals much, Swedish Haparanda and Finnish Tornio promote their twin city:

Today Tornio and Haparanda in Sweden make up an international twin city that altogether has 32 500 inhabitants. The aim of this unique border cooperation is to "enjoy the benefits of two countries but address the obligations of one country".

Aren't there actually three "border crossings", aka streets that cross the border, in the Tornio/Haparanda area? I don't think they all have custom houses.

I saw that, too! As I stumbled out after an early morning flight, barely awake again, my brain was like "what is wrong with this picture??" for a while before figuring it out.

Did AY accidentally reveal a new tier in the program or confirm that a secret tier above Plat indeed exists in their updated lounge access page.

Heard about it before but why would they publish it on the site? SK never mentions anything about Pandion on their site.

Finnair also mentions Finnair Club members throughout the page, even though the details of the Club don't seem public.
