Finnair is now looking for a customer service specialist for its Finnair Plus team in Tartu, Estonia (!).
Main tasks as per the announcement include:
So basically working with everything that we complain about the program here. Wouldn't a flyertalker therefore be quite a good cabdidate for the job? Somebody qualified could for example create a system where points post on the accounts instantly as we are not living in the 60s anymore.

For anyone wanting to use Admirals Clubs on arrival when traveling in AA Y and holding SPH or EMD status, it works seamlessly! Last Friday at LGA I gave my bp to the dragon and it scanned normally. It was a oneway ticket ending in LGA so there's no way it would pull details from onward travel. Presumably this works with the Flagship lounges too.

Now seating next to an interesting "Gentleman" on economy seat. He first arrives and seats on economy comfort seat 4 rows in front of me. After a while he stands and looks back standing for about 5-7 minutes and decides to sit in empty row of 4 (brings headphone and marimekko bag with him). After a while a family comes and claims their seat where this gentleman was seating and then the gentleman comes next to me. At this point I get interested to know about his situation, which was his seat as he is now in third seat. He says next to me is his real seat but then starts bragging that it does not matter and 10 days ago he came in Business seat although he did not pay for it. He then encourages me to go to that economy comfort seat whose amenities he has taken saying that he knows it is free but he doesn't want to seat there because there is a noise making child nearby. I decline saying that I haven't paid for that seat and I am not invited by cabin crue in that seat. He even provides me his free advice service on how to steal business class seat ( eg boarding at last and seating in empty seat...etc etc)Then comes the meal service. Gentleman asks for the Muslim meal and the he is offered a vegetarian meal, then he declines and saying non-muslim chicken is fine. Drink - Asks for whiskey to learn and get really disappointed that it has to be paid so he asks for both beer and wine. Meal service is over and now he is on second round of Wine (I thought only one wine and/or beer during meal was free but it seems wine/beer is free after meal as well). He has already used two times the front cabin restroom....Still almost 5 hours to enjoy his company.

Yeah. Once on CX a "gentleman" sat next to me on the exit row on a seat that should've been empty saying "You don't mind if I sit here?". Then he proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't pay for the emergency exit row seat and instead just grab it as there are often empty seats. I told him I didn't pay.

Some of my Muslim acquaintances have told me that's not quite true. One interpretation is that you are only not supposed to be drunk while doing a prayer. And then there is the whole other story of former Soviet Union countries which are Muslim majority, but their drinking culture is... well, from the Soviet Union.
