Pleased to report I received Dom on the ground on MXP-JFK recently! But sadly, the Eisele Araujo Cab that was showing online on the wine list was swapped for the Beringer Reserve on the onboard list. The Beringer was nice but the Araujo is much better.

Reading a number of trip reports recently where the Dom Perignon P2 is being offered again in F can anyone confirm this?

Haven't heard any wine reports lately...

Been keeping an eye on our wine list for our March SFO-DXB flight. Just noticed a 2008 Opus One pop up on the menu. Wow! Hope the inventory lasts.

Although not sure if it's really even the list for our flight. Aren't these only confirmed 30 days out??? Was looking on the app.

Anyone been enjoying the P2 lately?

Funny you mention the Opus, was in F on DXB-SEA yesterday and while the wine list was not showing the Opus when I looked last month it was when I checked a couple days before the flight and was hoping they would have it on board. They did and in fact I can personally confirm that at least 4 bottles were boarded
The Louis Latour 2011 Burgundy was also amazing and can validate at least 2 of those were boarded as well.

The Dom was just the 2008, no P2, but for science reasons I did have several glasses though after that decided to focus on the wines!

Moflav, m3red, batmandds and 2 others like this.

Now, don’t call me a wine snob, but....I do love wine and one of the reasons we chose to fly EK was for their onboard wine selection. We drink wine quite often, usually better than most, but we don't get the chance to try things like Dom, Opus One, 40 yr Tawny and of course Paradis. So, we are very excited.

I happen to be looking again at out wine selections, understanding we are still around 60 days away from our flight and things probably have not been finalized, I noticed a worrisome deletion. Now when looking at the wine list it has gotten noticeably shorter. Of note, it is not showing Dom, or any bubbles, and I noticed the Opus is gone as well. After doing a couple searches, I noticed the Opus fell off after the 19th of Feb and the Dom fell off the 28th of Feb.

Any thoughts?

Wonder if they are anticipating being out of the '08 Dom? and will run through their allotment of the Opus? Or is this just a case of they are finalizing the wine selection, and these will pop back up soon.

DP wasn't showing on our recent flights, and the wine list shrank as you mentioned. However, it sorted itself out closer to the flight, and all was good on board

EK is basically LVMH airlines so you can be sure they will be one of the last businesses to run out of 08 Dom!

It is probably just EK IT doing its thing, don't worry about it - I also had this problem recenty as DYKWIA encountered.

The Clos du Marquis 2005 and the Louis Latour Corton 2011 has some remaining stock in FCL B, but you'll need to go to the first station with the sushi counter, and it might be in the fridge behind the bar, not on display, if there's any left after this post...

Anyone know when they started to put the full F spirits list on the bars in the lounges (RIP Paradis)? It's been too long...

Normally I can do 3 bottles on a 15 hour flight to HKG. I will try for 4 bottles when I fly EK.
Yes, I am a fish.

Yeah, the last thing you want is a hangover during the flight. Keep drinking is my motto

I like the way you think!
The 2008 Opus One has disappeared from my flight from IAD to DXB in May but the 2008 Chteau d'Yquem and the Torbreck RunRig 2012 are now offered. I do anticipated a full cheese board to take advantage!

Reappearance!

iirc it started to be supplied in the modern EK F era in 2016, but on and off.
