Currently on AMM-DXB enjoying a bottle (or two) of P2 2003.
According to the FA the other pax haven’t caught on the fact that it’s on board. So all mine for now.
Flying to SFO later but with *only* regular 2012 it seems. I suppose I’ll have to settle for the Chateau d’Yquem.

Doing a tour of the DXB F lounges now - where are these leftover vintage wines casually lying around? The best I see are "only" the usual tier of wines - I saw a 2006 Lagrange (St Julien) and a 2012 Trimoulet.

Found a La Mission Haut-Brion (second wine of Haut-Brion) at one of the F lounges. Once the bartender saw that I was into wine, he arranged a quick, impromptu Bordeaux tasting.
Which concourse this was at is a trivial exercise left to the reader 😁 that said, at least one of these wines were available across all the lounges.

Confirming that Haut Brion (albeit 2007) has been a regular presence in the lounges over the past couple of weeks. B lounge had multiple bottles (together with some rather boring 2011 Petit Cheval). As always, given certain bottles are coming off the planes it is not unusual to find some that have been open for a little far too long.
P2 has now made its way on to the LHR flights (being served this week, while it was not there last week), as well as the Asia routes and shorter Middle Eastern ones. If we want to be really picky, I find it a bit underwhelming compared to the previous releases. But I remain very grateful that EK continue to treat us with some of these exceptional bottles; still the best cellar in the sky in terms of selection and variety.
