Yes, some times you think, if only you could pop out via T1!

While I didn't scour the whole lounge, the selection recently at the first class lounge in B wasn't special, with the highlight being the 2009 Lascombes which is currently served onboard.

Is there any rhyme or reason to when vintage collection wines are rotated in? Regions that get them most frequently? A time of year they tend to pop up?
We have flights in F coming up in May SFO-DXB-JNB and hoping to get lucky!

Just completed MAN-DXB-JNB return in business and overall view of the wines offered was less than impressed. In terms of choice it felt like buyers trading down somewhat. I also upgraded to the First lounge in B for 4 hours and really disappointed with the offering: no vintage champagne, no dessert wine at all and relatively poor choice of red wines - Alter Ego from Palmer and Pauillac from Latour which I think is their 3rd wine? An Albert Bichot Gevrey-Chambertin village wine also offered. Pretty but hardly premium.

I'm faced with a much different selection to #Nio above for my flight EK384 DXB to BKK/HKG in 2 weeks time. For reds exclusive to F, there is a choice of
2010 Chateau La Providence Pomerol
2015 Pharaoh Moans Westside Syrah
The champagne is the 2012 Dom, and is claimed to be exclusive? Is it better than the 2013?
