Dom Rose 2008 / Dom Brut 2015 pre-Departure on EK226 (SFO - DXB) on Wed 6 Nov 2024. Lovely purser let me do a side by side on the ground. Dom 2015 is drinking really nicely right now. No P2 yet but positive data point for pre-departure service ex-DXB. On to the flight!

Not that I’m aware of. I had the misfortune of flying EY Apartments rather than EK at the weekend, to make everyone a bit more appreciative of the EK offering, below is the wine list (BA First might literally be better…)

Looks like the P2 is starting to show up! Unfortunately, not on all routes. Wondering how long you guys think it will be available for since it got a late start? It is showing on wine lists 3,6+ months out but obviously that seems unlikely to last

Must be a relatively simple calculation (assuming that the P2 is the only motivation to upgrade).
Cost of a bottle of P2 (or the value to you), multiply with the number of bottles you can / plan to consume and compare the result with the cost of the upgrade.
If you use miles to upgrade the question becomes a bit more fuzzy (about as fuzzy as you will feel when you disembark from F...).

Likely would be using miles. Not sure P2 has caught my imagination that much for me to spend 40K+ miles - they all taste the same after a couple down :-) So passing it for now.
