fwiw last December they opened a fresh bottle of 2003 Mouton in front of me, so I don’t think this is true always.

No special stemware, but 2004 Mouton was flowing JFK-MXP. It was perfect after ~90 minutes in the carafe.

New one for me, checked the J wine list for HKG - BKK while in the lounge & surprised to see the Chassagne - Montrachet , asked if it was loaded, since it was not on the onboard Menu & the FM came over & asked to take a photo of my screenshot, thanked me for letting them know & then said we dont want disappointed passengers & kept offering me the good stuff Clearly polite feedback can pay off

Missed out on all the Mouton fun but it appears my upcoming US flight in F has DP Rose, a nice consolation prize. I will still make the trek to C lounge to unearth any gems…

Yes, I see that my early Sep departure from LGW has the DP rose as well. I was on the same flight almost exactly a year ago and I had it as well.
Unfortunately the rest of the wine list is a bit uninspiring. Will also see what the lounge has on offer. I have a 3:40 layover, so enough time to scrounge around.

The Mouton should be back on US flights next month. It's now on the wine list for next week's DXB-SEA flight, along with the DP Rosé and 2022 Don Melchor.

It's too early for the final wine list. September's ORD-DXB wine list is similarly uninspiring at the moment. Check again in a couple of weeks. The Mouton was added to next week's DXB-SEA flight less than 2 weeks ago.

Wow, time sure does fly if Dom Rose is back! Last year it also made the first appearance around late July/early August, and stuck around until at least mid October
Unfortunately it's not yet listed for my flights from/to JFK in a couple of weeks, but I have a feeling it will be onboard. Will report back

It is listed on my September ORD-DXB flight, oddly right at the very bottom (after Port) on the app

Ahh yes, I see it listed on my JFK flights now. It was randomly in the middle of the page so I missed it. Odd placement for sure

Yes, and it’s just described as ‘rose’ and the picture is a normal straight bottle and not a DP bottle. Sama as last year, IIRC.
Well, let’s hope the wine list gets better….

Actually for my flights, it is listed correctly with the correct image. The intricacies of EK IT

C lounge gets the best leftover wines? Is that where US flights land?

I'm partial to A regardless of where my flight arrives or departs, as it has multiple wine stations and great wine fridges in the main fine dining restaurant.
US flights are mostly B or A.
C is where you go to get exercise, and may even be in another time zone.

Everyone treats the C fridge as legendary, but perhaps because I heard it's self service and you can just browse
