fwiw last December they opened a fresh bottle of 2003 Mouton in front of me, so I don’t think this is true always.

New one for me, checked the J wine list for HKG - BKK while in the lounge & surprised to see the Chassagne - Montrachet , asked if it was loaded, since it was not on the onboard Menu & the FM came over & asked to take a photo of my screenshot, thanked me for letting them know & then said we dont want disappointed passengers & kept offering me the good stuff
Clearly polite feedback can pay off

Missed out on all the Mouton fun but it appears my upcoming US flight in F has DP Rose, a nice consolation prize. I will still make the trek to C lounge to unearth any gems…

Unfortunately the rest of the wine list is a bit uninspiring. Will also see what the lounge has on offer. I have a 3:40 layover, so enough time to scrounge around.

Yes, I see that my early Sep departure from LGW has the DP rose as well. I was on the same flight almost exactly a year ago and I had it as well.

Wow, time sure does fly if Dom Rose is back! Last year it also made the first appearance around late July/early August, and stuck around until at least mid October
Unfortunately it's not yet listed for my flights from/to JFK in a couple of weeks, but I have a feeling it will be onboard. Will report back

US flights are mostly B or A.
C is where you go to get exercise, and may even be in another time zone.

Everyone treats the C fridge as legendary, but perhaps because I heard it's self service and you can just browse
