served P2 on the ground at LHR (previously I have usually had the J champagne before take off). It was very good but I actually preferred the normal Dom in the air as the P2 seemed to become quite bland at altitude #firstworldproblem
I had a few glasses of that last week. Very nice!

This looks like a very nice selection from my IAD to DXB in May in F:

Araujo Estate, Eisele Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Tried the Hennessy Paradis with the cheese board last flight and it was pure gold in a glass!

For Feb US flights they seem to have both the Araujo Eisele '11, and Eisele '14 (from after Araujo sold the vineyard?). Not really a vertical but close enough! Also on board is Kapscandy Estate Cuvee '12, Beycheville 09, as well as Lagrange's 09 second wine and '14 SLWC Hands Across Time, both from the J menu.

So many solid years and solid vineyards. Going to have a heck of a red wine headache.

The Graham's Single Harvest Tawny Port 1976 does not get much of a mention on here but I recommend you sample a few glasses of this on your flight as well.

Was '12 when i visited it in July - well I guess it will be interesting to try over the NV that is usually served on this route. Not sure if the '12 was anything to ride home about, but the '08 was good and I have a bottle at home

Grand Vintage '08 was excellent after a bit of time in bottle. I had it on release and it was a bit harsh... and so was Dom '08. I miss the '06 of both. Never liked '09.

Surprised to see that the last post to this tread was by me, about a month ago.

But I thought I'd bump it. Enough misery about getting refunds etc.

What was the most enjoyable wine you had in EK F (yes, there used to be an EK F and they gave you wine ) in say the last three months?
