But the German govt 'powers that be' are under pressure so it's should be dramatic with lots of give and take no doubts about it

Late summer: but I understand there will be absolutely no capacity expansion allowed for UAE carriers to Western and southern india this time around and there will instead be requests for significant diplomatic concessions for pax transiting; there may even be stricter gateway access restrictions. But there may be room for negotiating flights to Eastern and North central india viz Kolkata Bodhgaya Bhubaneshwar, Lucknow )

I believe they do delivered a few 77W aircraft to come online. I'll check it out on airfleets.com to see if I can find. They haven't accepted 4x 77W isn't delivered yet.

Emirates777 - any plans on adding more frequency on RUH? Especially departing with the morning bank would be extremely beneficial for many daytime commuters.

I believe B77W deliveries will recommence from April 2011 onwards. Expect at least one aircraft to be delivered per month, with possibly two in some months.

Not in the very short-term given the bilateral was only revised last year. I would expect more frequency to added in another 18 months or so.

I have been told by some who've heard the chief pilot say that we will receive at least 1 B777 per month for approx 40 months starting May time frame with some months evidently having 3 per month!!! And that's only the B777.

Also chief pilot was quoted as saying EK is looking at 10 destinations in the US.
Doesn't mean we'll fly to them but at this point, looking is good!!

what could the 10 USA destinations be? I count sea,ord, iad,mia,bos, but that's only 5-any idea of the rest? of course if you add mex, colombia, panama, caracas, and Buenos aires to the mix that equals the other 5 but they are not in USA at all. (not that it matters much to most people :)

I have no actual knowledge of this but could be atl, ewr (even with jfk), las, phx, and I'll pray for phl.

Since they are looking they just might look quickly with some of these and longer at others.

I think there is possibility where EK can considering service to ATL, BOS, ORD, IAD, MIA, LAS, PHX, SEA, DTW or DFW. If they will put on entire A380 or 77W aircraft. EK will have to choosing for which the specific routes when they will be announced it.
