Hey guys, I'm new to FlyerTalk and VERY much interested in aviation.
I think that EK should start operating flights to ARN and OSL. They will see a lot of demand there and QR is already operating to both destinations. |

Emirates began flying from Dublin to Dubai in January of this year and has carried about 120,000 passengers to date and increased the size of aircraft to meet demand. Its average load factor is more than 90 per cent per flight. Mr Clark said Emirates will probably add a second flight a day on the Dublin route in the next 18 months to two years. |

MRU goes from 11/7 to 14/7 with one frequency added eff 12 Oct and the other two before December.

I am praying they announce ORD aka Chicago before BOS... East coast already has JFK and IAD... but nothing in the upper middle like ORD... ORD has lots of pax loads for EK, aka Asians traveling to SE Asia, or India, or pakastan.
do me a favor and just announce ORD and my 300K miles a year can be yours. |

With the EK and QF deal apparently becoming finalized as early as this week, any speculation on whether EK will announce a 6th and even 7th frequency to LHR by leasing QF's LHR slots? QF's slot times at the moment are arrival into LHR at (QF09) 05:40 and (QF01) 06:35 with their respective departures at (QF10) 22:30 and (QF02) 21:30. I would imagine that EK doesn't need the aircraft idle for the whole day, but maybe they could use the slot in reverse? so the arrivals are late at night and the departures are early?
