If BOS comes online, then I feel MIA and ORD may be postponed for another year.

I think they will have wait to start ORD service sometime in between 2013 or 2014. I think BOS will start and later on, EK will start DXB-MIA nonstop. THey will deployed the 77W aircraft for MIA & BOS only. ORD will have 77L aircraft first and let's see how it go.

Yes they won't all launch this year but hopefully get announced. LAX might loose its second daily temporarily again on BOS launch.

I absolutely can. EK continues to be in major growth mode, and BO'S and MIA especially are markets where it will want a first mover advantage. I can see all three launching staggered in 2013.

Can I ask why you think ORD would be 77L instead of 77W to start?

Again? The second daily LAX rotation has been removed and is not set for a return, as far as I know.

From today, August 1, 2012, Emirates is flying the A380 to Schiphol AMS. According to Emirates President Tim Clark in an interview with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf (in Dutch only) there will be second daily rotation to AMS within the next 12 months.

It was always planned to operate until 31 July, so last day of operation was yesterday and there are currently no plans for this frequency to be restored.

Including Adelaide and Lyon? The beach one should be Phuket although everyone is talking about Denpasar.

Yes, they are very popular in HKT. There is lots of those tourist who like go on the beach. They will enjoy the vacation. They will go on surfing, and etc.

EK0378 DXB HKT 1245 2155
EK0379 HKT DXB 0035 0435

Connectivity for the outbound sector seems questionable. I presume that European connections are targeted, but they are left with average connecting times of 6 to 7 hours. Other South East Asian departures with this kind of schedule leave over 2 hours earlier: BKK at 0905 and 0940, SGN at 0925, HKG at 1005, KUL at 1030, SIN at 0935, CGK at 1025, MNL at 1030.

EK355

Effective 28 OCT EK 355 will be retimed to SIN 2135 DXB 0100 +1

In addition, effective 01 SEP 2012, EK354/355 reverts to B777-300ER in config 8/42/304 (from previously planned -200 with 8/42/216) so 88 more Y seats.

The change has not yet been loaded but it certainly makes a lot of sense, as it would give SIN originating passengers access to the 2 - 4 am departure bank, the only missing link from SIN right now. Most other South East Asian stations have a flight with a midnight arrival into DXB.
