Onion bhaji sandwich from EAT (get antsy when it isn't the right week for the 'sandwich of the week') or a decent aloo tikki sandwich.

And fond memories of a baguette stuffed with tomato, fried egg, mayo and chips/fries INSIDE the sandwich purchased from a truck on the beach on the Cte d'Azur.

Ready-to-go sandwiches sold in every German bakery. Loved them even before I lived here.

What's Your Favorite Sandwich?

Just what the title says, what's your favorite sandwich?

Mine is a toasted honey wheat bread, stone ground mustard, turkey breast, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.

Tuna melt on rye with Vermont cheddar. Especially if there is celery in the tuna.

Chicken fingers on a good roll with BBQ sauce. Served with a side of curly fries and an ice cold Saranac Root Beer at the Doubleday Cafe in Cooperstown, NY.

I take your fish finger butty and raise you a chip butty - really hot chips, white plastic bread and melting butter. Plenty of salt
