Bucatini carbonara but I added too much pasta water so it wasn't thick enough. ☹

Tonight: pork stew and biscuits (and local corn)

I just googled to find a recipe, having never attempted this before. It’s basically a beef stew but with sweet potatoes, canned diced tomatoes, sliced mushrooms and green beans along with carrots and onions. Seasonings will be fresh thyme and Italian oregano from the herb garden. Normally I make stew in the crock pot but total cooking time is under 2 hours so I will keep it in the Dutch oven I use to brown the meat. I am using pork tenderloins even though all the recipes call for a fattier cut. Hopefully that won’t matter.

The vegetable cart showed up across from the clubhouse this morning. They featured, among other things, early Florida corn. The ears are small but I was told it’s sweet.

At one of several places in Duluth, GA. And unfortunately this restaurant didn't carry Topo as tasty as it is.

Taco hodge-podge tonight. Going out of town on Friday so we're cleaning out leftovers - small pieces of sirloin, roast turkey breast, tomatoes, an avocado, a couple limes, rice mixed with sauted spinach, cilantro, etc. I have faith it will all come together as two nice two-taco dinner plates .

Pasta with grape tomatoes, kale and garlic, bathed in olive oil and doused with ungodly amounts of parmesan.

I haven't cooked for ages due largely to stress from my job situation, but last night I finally decided that was ridiculous. It was very cathartic, and now I'll be eating the rest of this for the next three days, I'm sure. I made rather a lot.
