I had spring sfybl (PONY) zoom meeting so my spouse ordered DoorDash from Indian clay oven for supper. Yum! I wouldnt have considered it.
kashmiri naan (cherry / raisin / almond)
Hydrabadi lamb (with fruit & potato straws)
chana masala
lentils (dal)
butter chicken
rice
good and all was mild. Supposedly the lamb was medium and it didnt feel spicy. I love too much spice.

Last night, dinner at Gaijin with another couple. It's a Paul Virant restaurant (for those who've heard of him) specializing in okonomiyaki.
Started out with pickled vegetables, short ribs, and bok choy. Each couple the split a pancake. We had Osaka style octopus with an egg on top. The other one was some kind of gluten free version, not sure what was in it. Mochi donuts for dessert. Lots of Suntory whiskey.
Totally my kind of food, I loved it. My wife liked the pancake and short rib, but nothing else. We'll probably choose Momotaro's basement yakitori bar over Gaijin, but it was still fun.

Sorry, can't figure out how to reduce the size of the photo and keep it sharp and clear.

Last night, an Italian hoagie from Wawa. With double meat. Definitely hit the spot.

Not sure if there's anything to being influenced by others, but you have me thinking about having some corn flakes with that new Fairlife milk thing I'm trying. Growing up, I used to love Tony the Tiger cornflakes, especially how at the end the milk would be so sweet!

stromboli pizza
As a child, I also enjoyed the super sweet milk after having my Tony the Tiger cornflakes!
But now, I prefer little or no sweetness! Perhaps I should give that Fairlife a try... if I can buy it in Canadia.

I thought we could buy Fairlife. I see ads for it on youtube. I'm pretty sure I saw it on the shelf at SDM.

Bought some short-dated stewing beef the other day and wanted to make something other than goulash which I've probably made between - veal and beef - close to half dozen times this year. Found a recipe for a once-vulgar
dish, brown beef stew with dumplings. Don't think I've seen this offered in any place in the U.K. for 30-40 years (maybe in the frozen section of a supermarket), and it's surprisingly rather obscure even where I am, in the past let alone current day.
