I have never had raisin pie nor do I remember seeing it anywhere. The crumb topping looks beautiful.
I guess I am going to have to keep an eye out for it now.

Depends on where you put it and if you added some filler. When I put egg into the patty, I usually mix it in really well (with the other and often add some breadcrumbs (not a lot) as filler.

Of course, if you make it into something like a ramly burger, then it's kinda hard to make it fall apart.

also two cocktails: a gin and club soda into which I juiced a lime (refreshing!) and a Negroni with Lillet instead of sweet vermouth.

All in all, a nice Sunday dinner with not too much effort.
And egg in a burger=meatloaf. No eggs in burgers.

That looks great! We make it every now and again when we're craving the ma la flavor (extra Sichuan peppercorns for me!).

I think Ralph's.....in the day old bread section so I think it was around a dollar for a 2 pack. Once I heat it in the toaster oven it tastes fresh & great. But I have seen it also at Von's.

I definitely always hear my Cheesecake Factory bread. I also toast / heat almost every bread product that I purchase. Meanwhile my family will gladly eat bread products that arent toasted or warmed. This morning my child ate half a cinnamon/sugar bagel and didnt even want it toasted.
