One last attempt before the shutters come down after lunch tomorrow
Fish , red snapper , head curry with brinjal , lady s fingers , yam pieces and bean curd ( tau pok )
Also enjoyed the fried chicken wings and rojak again along with the same drink calamansi with sour plum

The chickens are free range, and a smaller breed that is more flavorful than our domestic ones. Taste reminds me more of turkey than chicken.

Singapore/Malaysia (and likely Indonesia and Brunei): kampung chicken
Don't remember where they call it village chicken, I just know that people have mentioned it.
Essentially all the same thing, but not quite the same terms.

I love this newer location with free parking and online reservations. I have eaten at original Joes back when it was in the tenderloin and there was that time when I got to see a guy get thrown out of an adjacent bar. Then again I guess Ive seen a guy get carted out of the restaurant as well. Ill take the current version of it :-)
