cant believe Im looking at, what looks like, a decent slice in TX! Im a CT/NY pizza guy and have been nothing but consistently disappointed down here. I distinctly separate out that style from Neapolitan, which isnt really family style.

This reminds me of a dish I have always wanted to try... bagna cauda... Unfortunately the opportunity hasn't really come up and making something like that "for one" isn't really worth it.

Emmy Squared, Nashville - probably my favorite Detroit style - vodka with added pepperoni and burrata - only $23, which felt like a steal for the amount of food - oh, Im jaded!

Back to Ladybird and tried the other salsas and a chorizo taco and potato taco - both yummy - later, I went to Jenis for some absurdly-priced ice cream at $7, but I would be lying if I said the birthday cake and maple pancakes werent both yummy

That looks fantastic! There's an Emmy Squared here (never been to one) and if they have that version I am definitely going to make it my lunch destination Saturday because its an easy walk over to JPJ for the Virginia/Miami game.

Enormous baked potato topped with French fried onions ( really baked in the oven as opposed to nuking which i usually do)

Tonight - Shrimp Scampi with a Marborough Sauvignon Blanc,


Last night- Chilean Sea Bass sauteed in garlic butter with baby spinach (which I prepare the same way I do the spinach mixture in my Oyster Rockefeller with shallots, garlic, a little Pernod and a splash of hot sauce) paired with a 2023 Petit Chablis
