Salad Nicoise paired with Domaine Carneros Brut Rose with the the jarred Tonnino Yellowfin in truffle infused olive oil so it had that lovely truffle aroma. On the negative, I am apparently out of Kalamata Olives and the Spanish Manzanilla Olives I have on hand flat out do not match this flavor profile so added roasted bell peppers. Also on a wine pairing note- Veuve Rose would have been a better fit with its strong Pinot profile, but was already going to be using a bottle of that for Bacon Wrapped Scallops tomorrow

From a few days ago - Allday in Austin - the tiramisu is good, but I prefer the birthday cake

Leftover donut from Thursday
boichik egg bagel with Philly cream cheese and
blood orange German marmalade
locally-homemade bergamot (orange?) marmalade

I was super starving and ordered Indian on DoorDash. It arrived 15 minutes later as if they all use fast speed devices. Human driver delivery.
my son has friends over so Im eating in my home office.
chicken vindaloo - extra spicy
goat biriyani - medium spicy
it is so good and was under $40 with the $4 tip / Dashpass and omg its so good. I rarely use DoorDash as Ill normally fetch it and it feels like delivery makes more sense. Im definitely perplexed.

LIndustrie West Village - I was a bit disappointed this time as they burned the bottom of one of the slices - dessert was a service recovery bread pudding from The Standard High Line - it was good

Only stepped in a few slush puddles to get to Los Tacos No. 1 on Church Street - I order the Especial (fried quesadilla) to cheer up
