Monday:
Jacks, San Bruno ca:
shared dips app
fried chicken supper
Tuesday:
street taco, sf:
carryout
guac & chips
carnitas burrito
Ooh. I tend to have it with friend groups, depending on the host. I’ll eat anything but
agreed - their French dip at Los Altos grill is stunning. I usually get it.
The steak is great. Zero shock. I had a too light luncheon and really needed some meat - and this 4-5 ounce Portion was perfect! Yum. I definitely love Los Altos grill and hill stone which is in the old sf Houston’s location. I actually never went to any hillstone restaurant until this year and I love this chain.

Margherita with added burrata at Heritage Pizza KL - Pizza Duo is definitely better, but the burrata was a nice touch

Dinner last night in the sukkah at my Rabbi's house-- we started with fresh salad, accompanied by broiled salmon and matzo ball soup. Gefilte fish was passed around, though I've never developed a taste for it after all of these days. Main course was a nicely spiced baked chicken with potato kugel and green beans. Dessert was a baked apple with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious.

Something different tonight as the Fall temperatures arrive- homemade chili made with ground American Wagyu, Guinness, Serrano & Jalapeo, kidney beans, tomatoes et al and generously topped with shredded sharp cheddar paired with Kirkland Champagne

But it's one of the best salads I've ever had and THE best French dip!
