Now in addition to Mrs BV prepping for bloodwork, I am prepping for a colonoscopy. Day 4, I grilled Peruvian Coho salmon, blackened and zucchini. Baked sweet potato as well. I will get more restrictive tomorrow. If the tuna salad is gone, I may make another big batch for her. I’ll probably stick to peanut butter on white bread, maybe rice or baked potato without the skin. Blah. I want a hamburger.

So, why am I here looking at pictures of other peoples lovely food?
At least my restrictions are lifted Wednesday. And I will be gone a night mid-month and both of us are staying at the beach 4 nights at month-end. We will dine at seafood places there and the menu will be a bit broader. I plan to eat a large steak at OKC while she consumes quinoa and chicken at home.

Yes--your nightmare ends Wednesday...poor Mrs BV. My intense cramming is usually only about 3 weeks. How much longer is her suffering?

But the desert on their Easter Sunday Supper Px-Fixe menu is described as "Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding chocolate ice cream." Was the Mango Cheesequeque an accommodation for Passover? That would be assuming that it had a matzah meal and/or nut crust.

My sister-in-law made salmon - it was very good - the sides were not my thing and plated against my will ;-)
