Nepali Nom noms. Windsor, CA.

Tasty. I hate the term nom noms but alliteration is more important.

Pizzeria Prima Strada, Victoria, BC - the pizza was fine / decent, but the star was the basil aioli on the side

What? Fish on pizza? I am fine with it but there are some pizza police who aren't happy with you right now.

Mother and Father used to always order shrimp pesto pizza at Piatti in San Antonio and Grotto in Houston - so I actually think prawns were one of the first proteins that I tried on pizza and enjoyed when I was younger.

ElevatorEnthusiast What other pizza joints you got on the radar for Vancouver? Straight Out of Brooklyn has been my downtown go to for years. Zaccary's on Oak St is a locals only place. Cash only. But not very convenient if staying downtown.

I ended up going back to Ignite as I like it so much, but thanks for the recommendations!

Gioia, Hayes valley, sf:
Slices are $5.25 which is a good deal in sf!
this is one of the David Portnoy recommended spots.

Julian (kale / sausage - white)
asparagus pesto (white)

there is only 1 4-top table that was occupied upon arrival yet once my 2 slices were ready, the table fully opened up!

they’re super busy for nighttime pickups and DASH couriers. The under carriage wasn’t as strong as the other time I was here for luncheon. The pizza was still delicious but I also enjoy Costco pizza…

I am only here because my son has 7-8:30p lacrosse practice and it’s beyond dark outside the field. I don’t want him waiting in the dark so I park by the field and am just sitting in the car 8p onwards. I’m not even fully thrilled with the half-Mile trek from the car to Gioia’s.
