Coho salmon, slathered in Dukes mayo, dusted with dill and grilled. Sweet potato with butter and cinnamon. Brussels sprouts with a sprinkle of aged Parmesan.

1/2 Cornish game hen, 5 spice seasoning. Zucchini. Veggie rice. Some leftover Brussels sprouts snuck into the plate.

AA/Netflix/Mastercard priceless experience this week in Dallas, hosted at Netflix House with Chef Chris Bianco. A bunch of friends went, which was super cool. It cost 25k AAdvantage miles for 2 and totally worth it.
on arrival, we played squid games. Very fun even for my wife who had never seen the show. She was in first going into the last challenge and made the beginners mistake on red light green light (and I warned her!)
They gave us cards for the arcade, but we didnt even have time. Happy hour after squid games with a full, high quality open bar and amazing service by everyone around.
We sat in front and Chef Bianco was actually slinging pies and overseeing the kitchen actively. He would come out and tell us stories about the dishes. Spent a lot of time once everything was running walking around and engaging with everyone. Great guy - and we both hate the Yankees.
The salad was the standout to me - so fresh, light and perfectly seasonal. Im not knocking the pie at all (have made the pilgrimage to Pizzeria Bianco and its worth the detour).
Hopefully the professional photos come through next week and Ill post more of those. Excellent event and highly recommend if you ever have one nearby.
We all left with a nice gift bag that included a signed cook book.

Noe Indian via DASH
my 9p meal after having only had 1-1/2 donuts and a Large coffee today. Cant really explain. My son has friends over so I got more Indian than normal. I just wanted the chicken vindaloo and the vegetable dishes. I am now super sated, 38 minutes after the food arrived.

Not sure I ever told this story here, but several years ago we were at one of his pizzerias - sitting outside and Chris might have had a few drinks. He was arguing with a patron at the next table - it was protracted and got annoying. My partner got up and walked over and told him that he was spoiling our meal (which, by the way, was delicious). Chris said he was correct and apologized. He comped the entire bill for our party of five - $300 plus.

My hotel caught on fire on the floor below mine, so I evacuated to dinner - Za Pizzeria in Toronto - was told after ordering that they ran out of arugula - not sure what was worse - the fire or the lack of arugula - at least they put the fire out by the time I finished dinner
