Salmon looks perfect and hard to stop at half a baked potato.

Also bacon bits. But I left them in the fridge.

Dinner at the Wadsworth Inn, formerly the Shanty South, in Wadsworth, IL.
The tomato was very fresh and the mozzarella was delicious. I haven't had a steak sandwich for a very long time, so this was just as good as I hoped it would be.
I was pleased to see my Upside cash back request was approved within ten minutes of submitting it (despite it saying it was for the Shanty South, which was renamed to be the Wadsworth Inn) and they were also on Fetch at 30 points per $1.

The “Nonno Vincenzo” at nNea, Amsterdam - this was apparently voted as Best Pizza in the Netherlands - and I’m inclined to agree - perfect Neapolitan execution and the pork topping was sublime

I went to h salt in the 1970s once with my father. Even then he was requesting no added salt to the fries. That location is now Jane the Bakery, where I get baguettes weekly or so. Just so great. On Friday the baguettes were so warm that the staff had to warn customers. By the time I returned home, the bakery sweat had the baguettes in slightly damp baguette bags lol
speaking of which… our son hosted 20 friends last night before going to a house party. I only got wingstop (at the ghost kitchen 5 minutes away by car) and not my beloved pizza for the kids because our son prefers wings over pizza. Actually our son says that he doesn’t like pizza - even as a kid at kid parties, he only had cheese pizza and he disdained toppings. Even my wife had some wings and said they were good. I really would prefer pizza, sigh. I love pizza.
so my Saturday supper, while the kids were out at some party…
jane baguette with spreads
butter
trader joes cookie butter
baguettes were so great that I had seconds.
then 2 bowls of cereal before some of the kids returned so at that point I just went upstairs.
