ooh I enjoy miss vickei’s. At times only, as often I just buy Kettle brand. Alas I don’t know the other brand!

If I am ever again at St. Luke's Medical Center I will definitely have to check out their pizzas!

Fortunately I'll never need another prostatovesiculectomy.

Grilled Loin Lamb Chops w/Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and steamed green beans paired with Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon (wasn’t that thrilled with that Cabernet)

sausage McMuffins are definitely a lot greasier than a traditional McMuffin (which is my goto when traveling and need a quick breakfast stop)

Traditional McMuffin uses ham... I've sometimes grabbed one for long flights... Ask for a tea and "steam" it... not great, but edible. More filling than the snacks they have on board.

Looks like a US product.

That reminds me, I might put some hot sauce on one next time I get one...

Yes. The "spicy sauce" gets in the way and ruins the sandwich IMO.

Sprouts had swordfish on sale last night, so I picked up a filet for dinner. It was already seasoned with a lemon/pepper mixture, so I didn't add anything to it. Decided to grill it on a piece of foil with a bit of olive oil which worked out well and it didn't burn. Also grilled up some mini potatoes in a foil packet with some olive oil and various seasonings from Penzey's. Paired with an arugula salad with fresh basil I harvested from my vegetable garden.

Fetched my wife & friends at 10:25p after Dead concert so at 9:35p I had time to eat a late supper at GAO Viet, sf which is under a mile from the pickup spot! Plus in that area it’s a rare non-pizza spot open until 10 even if their kitchen stops taking orders at 9:45p!
still weird to pay $23 for pho even if… it really is fabulous and it’s a gorgeous restaurant. The owner has good social media and he’s posted photos of his life in 1970s dislocation camps in Asia before he came to America to live the American dream.

chubby pho
spring rolls

it’s a block from my beloved ppq which closes at 9:30p and which is cheaper plus they serve pho the way I would prefer. At 9:35p they simply weren’t open for me.

eta I’m again fetching my wife & friends from the dead concert tonight so chances are high that I’ll return to gao viet tonight.
