original joes, Daly City ca:
cheeseburger with Swiss - rare (it cooks while on the plate)
spaghetti (instead of fries)
shared cream spinach
i continue to love original joes, especially after having eaten at their Tenderloin location from the 1970s to 2000s. Yay for reservations. It was nice to enter past the crowded lobby and get immediately seated thanks to our reservation. I definitely wouldnt go to a restaurant like this which takes reservations if I lacked a reservation on a Sunday night.
you deserve to have pizza when you want it. At a certain point in time food like pizza doesnt need to have any form of guilt.
ooh sweet potatoes are fun!

I don't think it's fear. I've eaten quite a few pizzas over the years, and potato pizza aside from the double starch, just sounds incredibly bland. Pizza is a guilty pleasure for me, and I won't waste the calories on blandness. Case in point, I will not ever eat a plain cheese pizza, regardless of the type(s) of cheese. Oh I've tried, but never again unless I was starving. What sounds incredible is Corky's pastrami pizza which I still have not seen on any menu. It will happen.

For me it's just the double starch thing I guess. I don't do potatoes in burritos or pitas or shawarmas either. I found it strange in Brazil that french fries and white rice were very commonly served side by side on various plates. By the way, have you had the opportunity to witness Europeans eating hamburgers with knife and fork yet?

I've seen pierogie pizza as well (pierogies as a topping) so that would be triple carb if you consider the wrappers... never tried it before but I'd be willing to give it a go.
Now I'm kinda hungry.

I guess so! Like coating blueberries in lemon juice + cornstarch before adding to cake batter to keep em purple (and not green)

I am on a rather boring run of organic boneless chicken breast since I got two packs a few days ago since they were on sale on Whole Foods. The usual freshly homemade lemon garlic marinade for an hour for the pounded flat chicken breast marinated for an hour then pan fried and served with steam broccoli accompanied with Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc (which is also used in the marinade). Yawn...

Leftover cheeseburger from original joes
chocolate chip cookies - from Noe Bakery frozen cookie dough; I’m letting dough thaw for another 30 minutes before I can plate and bake them
probably more oranges
I’m so high

Emmy Squared is one of my go-to places in the Eastern US (Nashville, DC, etc) as well as in Dubai - unfortunately, I was not as impressed with their Via Riyadh outpost - the pizza was quite heavy with less taste than I would have hoped
Part of me thinks this could be because the menu was much smaller here, and I believe I normally get a vodka sauce pizza, which unsurprisingly was not an option here

Sweet potatoes are toxic in any form.
