At an SFO airport hotel this weekend for a conference and found the New England Lobster Market & Eatery. Weekday happy hour with 3 dollar beers? Uh, yes please!

We had guests for 4 days who love chips and salsa. While at the store to buy a normal bag of tortilla chips, they had huge bags of a decent brand on super-sale for $3. Lots left over now, so......
Nachos for dinner tonight. Chips, refried beans, sour cream, cheddar cheese, fresh jalapenos, sliced black olives. Yum.

Believe it or not, you can freeze chips. They won't be usable as chips for dipping but can be used in recipes. I keep some in the freezer to toss with eggs for chilaquiles. Or to throw into chicken tortilla soup.

Two blocks of fresh tofu, one with homemade "ginger scallion" sauce, one with an oyster and chili oil concoction I threw together.

Will get hungry later, but hey, it was at least somewhat healthy
