Lunch home today: Lobster in picada sauce with bomba rice a la Bar Pinotxo at La Boqueria in Barcelona with a nice French Sauv Blanc. Was excellent.

Went with my Mom to Another Broken Egg Cafe again today. Had a Floridian Omelet which was monterey jack, crab meat, cream cheese and onions plus an English muffin and some potatoes. Really good as usual ^

lunch@home: Spatchcocked chicken with lemon and thyme with a stir fry jersey potato , rice and peas. Rioja.

Always wanted to go to Adana to have one of my favourite kebabs! Are you having one? Pictures if it's convenient!

I have seriously considered going to Adana simply to try it on home ground .... hopefully you'll have an opportunity. Enjoy your trip.

Chipotle! It had been too long.

I had lunch there yesterday. The first time I was ever there, I was on a low carb diet, so I had the steak salad. It was so good, I have never had anything else there, except for their guacamole. Their lime dressing is one of my favorite things ever. As a matter of fact, I saw Chipotle Lime dressing at Costco on Friday and bought a bottle, hoping it's the same flavor.

I think it's known more for the cougars at the bar than the food. ;)

Good call! I had that adana kebab tonight and it was one of the best meals for the money I've had all year. Just points out the tragedy of what they call Turkish food back home.

I took a picture but it will have to wait until I figure out how to post images.

I make Adana kebabs at home having got hooked in both Turkey and bizarrely a place we visit regularly in Vienna. But you need to relive the originals every so often. I'm pleased you enjoyed them.

Now you tell me! Note to self: next time I'm in Chicago go to Gibson's for dessert to go :D

Anyway back on topic:

- Lunch at a nearby BBQ place called the Q Shack. Had a plate of Jalapeno and Cheese Sausage, potato salad and onion rings, hush puppies and toast. Still full from all that.

Lunch@home: Braised BBQ pork in chilli etc on rice with stir fry and Warsteiner.

Lunch@Devon: Chilli Chicken Wings (around a ton ....) spring rolls, rostis and a bottle of Esprit de Buganay Rosé Côtes de Provence. It is sort of summer.
