That was pretty short lived. I don’t see anyone eating out as much as gb. Their poor red garage fridge is probably still stuffed with too many pints of ice cream.

For lunch: My last Trader Joe's scallion pancake topped with an easy over egg, a drizzle of soy and a sprinkle of furikake seasoning.
|
Morning snack: the rest of the honeydew
Lunch: two small turkey burgers, oatmeal with blueberry syrup Snack: Campbell's Healthy Request Chicken Noodle soup and a strawberry-cream Chupa Chups lollipop -J. |
An au gratin for lunch today. Gold potatoes, purple sweet potatoes, leeks, shallots, and red bell pepper. Obviously the purple was a bad idea because it turned everything gray. Tastes great though.

definitely this past week! My spouse is out of town dealing with their late parent’s stuff. We’ll fly out there tomorrow (and eat luncheon at sfo because airplane meal might suck). I’ve had too much to do here so I’ve treated myself to some meals in anticipation of more restaurant meals in Chicagoland next week before we enjoy thanksgiving at home. |

Note to self: When topping fudge with nuts, press them down really really well otherwise nut pieces everywhere but on the fudge.
This is tasty stuff. I love them both. Just three base ingredients: sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and vanilla. Visconti , I’m saving some for you. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...935a171cf.jpeg PS - Don’t add sweet potatoes to your potato gratin. The sweetness ruined it. It seemed good when it was really hot out of the oven, but not so great when it cooled. |
Dinner tonight was an ahi tuna sushi burrito. They raised the price $2 but he made it extra spicy per my request. Still a bargain. Also had the last two turkey meat sliders.

I just had pumpkin pie-flavored Greek yogurt. It was okay... not as good as I was hoping. Next time I may add some spices to it.
