Lunch: final piece of the turkey/sausage meatloaf, coffee greek yogurt with All-Bran

Circus Peanut update: if you thought it couldn't get any worse, you are wrong  If you microwave a circus peanut it grows in size as a Peep would. It also tastes even more disgusting.

I will continue experimenting with them for the benefit of others. It may warrant an OMNI thread at some point as it should not be considered "food" and therefore would not qualify for DiningBuzz.

I once went to a party in graduate school (decades ago :) ) where the theme was to bring the worst wine pairing with food you could imagine. The winner? Circus Peanuts and Ripple.

Of course per GW McLintock neither might actually be considered food/edible ;)

That sounds fantastic (the egg white scramble with potatoes and pico). I used to love pancakes but not so much anymore, though I definitely prefer them over waffles. Glad you enjoyed it. I am waiting for eggs to go on sale again.

Last night's dinner was Trader Joe's turkey and stuffing pot pie.

I pay $4 for 12 organic brown eggs at Trader Joe’s.

I typically pay less than $2/dozen for jumbo eggs.

Mr. CE was craving pancakes yesterday and we tried to go to Walker Brothers (he's never been) but the line was too long, so we ended up at our neighborhood spot instead. He's working from home tomorrow and Wednesday, and I'm off, so we may give it a weekday try.

Eating at the Mirage in Vegas since last night. Nice food, but no cheap options for families. I guess we could go to the Panda Express or McDougal’s across the street. Looks like Uber Eats has some deals. I bought a few Groupon’s for nearby places, but haven’t adventured out, yet.

Had lunch at the Pantry. Cheddar burger with fries. Side of Macaroni and Cheese. My wife had the chicken fried steak. Daughter had chocolate chip pancakes. And she insisted on the hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I was totally full, just with my food, and shared about 1/3 of it. Didn’t even taste the apple pie.

I don’t have those images on this ipad, yet. Here’s a pic of her getting a sweet drink at Starbucks. Arghhhh. Too much sugar.

My modified coq au vin did not go well. I haven't even had the heart to lift the pot lid yet and have been cured of any hunger.

Everything bagel with a slice of pepper jack cheese.
Baked sweet potato.

That doesn't look at all appealing to me.

I rarely have any of those foods but I still consider them yummy.
