Made fettuccine Alfredo, bread and salad last night for dinner so I had the leftovers for lunch today. My first time making it and it turned out quite well ^

Sounds good!

lunch@home (hampshire): Cod fish cakes and parsley sauce and petit pois - one of our favourite meals and all supermarket packaged ... with a bottle of Pecheur. Followed by an Uppman Corona, large espresso and brandy in the garden.

The oil tank has sprung a weep - but I do not care. What can go wrong always seems to. A replacement has been booked - and a crane to lift it over the house.

"More brandy please!"

Last night at home.

Homemade miso soup - miso with choi sum, seawood, golden mushrooms and noodles (yes I know it's not right for Japanese soup but it's soooo good).
Carrot cake - made by a friend of a friend, and one of the best i've had. I must get the recipe.

Tonight @ home.

A terrible error of judgement.

I had some prawn dumplings and decided to serve them in chicken consommé and sweetcorn. It was ghastly and binned.

Barnbrack and butter was substituted with some Elsanta strwaberries.

Singaporean carrot cake?...

No, British, but this one had a lot more fruit and nuts through it as well, which made it very tasty.

Szechuan pork ribs, Alaskan halibut served with squash ravioli and haricot vert, and chocolate souffle at Roy's Chicago!

I made shrimp tacos last night and had leftover shrimp today so I tried making a shrimp and cheese omelet. I failed at the whole flipping thing, so it became a shrimp and cheese scramble :D

lunch@hampshire

A lovely sunny day today ....

During the week I found a supplier who delivers different types of wood for wood burning stoves. So time to fire up for the first time this year - the beehive oven with Spanish olive wood and some lovely thin pizza was produced. The bigga was made yesterday and a nice light pizza base made with very little was produced. A light tomato sauce with some Italian sausage and anchovies. No cheese. Lot's of wine. Followed by an Upmman cigar and a cheap Spanish brandy. Burnt head from the sun.

Please let me know if you decide to go & you wouldn't mind fellow FTer company at Gibson's, I'd like to give them another try, as it has been quite awhile since I've been (received a poor quality steak which should be taken care of at a place like Gibson's (and has in past w/clients of mine) but was not this particular time).

Today .... I (we) have been eating ....

Absolutely, I'll send you a PM as my plans congeal. Currently in Lithuania battling the mosquitos, but no native cuisine yet. Did have great grilled chicken at a party last night (shashliks) Never seen anyone baste with beer before but I'm told it's the local way

Well ... the beehive again today. Big pieces of leg of lamb and some large wedges of baked olive oil potatos in thyme and some little bits of pizza to start.

Hey, I have tried coconut lime and Absolut Vodka Peppar Pie. You should try these because this is light diet food.
