Is that chicken au naturel, or is it sort of barbecue sauced?

My lunch and dinner (one meal, 2 of the wraps) was a chinese styled (never had anything exactly like it but could imagine it being as had several similar) lettuce wrap.

minced pork, onion, brown rice, mushrooms and 5 spice with soy and ginger on the filling, with scrambled eggs cooked in the 'leftover' sauce from above after moving it out of the wok, topped with a sweet tomato quick pickle sauce (and the tomato too).

Better than anything at a nearby chinese 'restaurant' and far more authentic.

Koreans love garlic. :) We even eat raw garlic cloves when having sanggyetang. Don't worry, I never go out that night or the next day if I have raw garlic cloves :P

I guess that's why vampires are known to avoid Korea .....:)

Not everyone can say that. Nothing like that "aroma" on the crowded commuter train in the morning. :eek:

Had a mediocre burger at Disneyland (the original) today.

PS UK1 - I see the Freybernat is still on special at Ocodo. I have the mother in law visiting for a week or so (sadly I'll be in LA) and need to stock up on 'plonk'. Recommended as an every day snifter?

Very much so. It needs opening and warming. It isn't oaky and at first seems a bit on the light side. It isn't a merlot or rioja, but it has some subtle style about it. But when I opened the second which was warmer I really liked it. It's poor value at the (I think) £13 or so but at half price it's really great. You need to check it's still on offer.

Let me know how you get on.

ps just checked and still on offer - I've added another 20 to my next order. I've read a negative review which says it's rough and tannic - but I'd say the absolute opposite.

Pork ribs cooked on the parrilla with tattie salad using home made mayonnaise along with some fresh tomato/onion sprinkled with chimichurri.
