I guess this is the right place for this. Not sure if it's a bug, but here goes.
Just got my initial AMEX MQM bonus posted, and it pushed me over 50K MQM for the year. However, I'm still listed as SM on the website. I need to book a flight for this week, but obviously I'd prefer to do it as a GM.
Does anyone know if there is a common delay in bumping you up after reaching a milestone, or do I need to call?
Thanks in advance.

If M is so important for BE upgrade, why can't I find/price it?
I have tried for 2 days to look for an M-fare going SLC-CDG-CPH-JFK-SLC in December, a trip I often take for it's convenience for me.
According to Expert flyer there are plenty of Z-upgrades (except for the CDG-CPH AF flight) for my dates of travel, and thus need to know the price of an M-fare (to compare it to the $3500 I fare).
No luck. In order to get the 5 PM SLC-CDG flight I have to check "Priority according to schedule" and when doing that with "M-fare chosen", I have now for 2 days been met with "system unavailable".
If choosing "priority according to price", or "not specifying an M-fare", I either can not bring up the SLC-CDG flight (price/M-fare) or will get economy in less than M-fare (schedule/not checking M-fare)
No way around a call to sort it out.

EDIT: I've posted in this thread before about frustrations with the booking engine, and I notice them more when I'm searching for a specific routing. Lately, I've been pretty successful with not specifying each leg of the trip individually with a multi-city search by schedule and fare class (especially when I know the booking engine will give me the segments I want through a logical connection point).
For example, to get the above to price out, I searched for SLC-CPH, CPH-JFK, JFK-SLC by schedule and fare class M+.

Thank you! - Even though I consider myself somewhat savy in these matters, I just can't get these fares up on this itinerary on my dates: Leaving Dec. 6, return Dec. 12 (so you were pretty close!!). I figure, if I can't figure it out, not many can (but obviously the best of the best can!!), and that is why I reported it.

All I want to do is book a simple ticket...
but I keep on getting this:
Booking Access Denied
Service is restricted due to high volume of traffic. Please contact Delta Air Lines at 888-750-3284 for more information about this error.

What's really frustrating is the AwardTicket booking engine is functioning fine, but I can't buy a ticket.

There are two problems with the descriptions of Delta's Boeing 757-300 aircraft on the DL web site.
http://www.delta.com/planning_reserv..._300/index.jsp
This page correctly identifies this aircraft as having a total of 224 seats.
However, for some reason, the seat diagram omits showing seats in row 1. If you use DL.com to book a flight, you'll see the reservation system seat map and you see that nothing has changed since 757-300's were operated on NW - there IS a complete row 1, and there are a total of 24 seats in F, and 200 seats in Y on this aircraft.
http://www.delta.com/planning_reserv...yout/index.jsp
This page also has a mistake in describing the 757-300. This page says that there are 20 F seats and 200 Y seats for a total of 220 seats.
The correct numbers of course are 24 F / 200 Y for a total of 224 seats.

Date entry screw up again:
I originally posted this when the new homepage went live and Delta fixed it almost immediately. Now it's sort of not working again.
If you select a drop down entry from the "Recent Search" list, the website will automatically fill in the previously used dates for that search. I love this feature ^
However, if you want to change one of the dates (outbound or return), I always enter them as "10/7/10" for example. The website throws an error and says I've entered invalid data. No, I haven't entered invalid data. The website just can't handle it. If you do a new search and enter 10/7/10 as a date the website accepts it just fine.
What seems to be happening is if the dates (outbound and return) are entered in a different format the website pukes. This needs to be fixed; because again, I will not use that useless calendar function and will always type in dates manually. I'd like to be able to enter 10/7/10 and not have to go retype things to 10/07/2010.
Thanks,
RM
