I need 5k MQM Fast!

Okay expert flyers, I need your help. I am currently Platinum and trying to retain for next year.

I need help earning at least 5k MQM before 12/31. I am already traveling the week of 12/5 and 12/12. The week of 12/19 is family time, so I can only travel the last week of the year.

Is there any flight or promotion I can take to clear those miles. If I fly, it needs to be same day. As for promotions, I have exhausted all options, other than someone donating their Delta Reserve bonus to me.

I appreciate the help.

If you are willing to pay around $550 after tax you can buy 5K MQMs at:
delta.com/buymqms

An MR to the west coast with a routing through JFK may work. A quick look at a few possibilities brings up ATL-SFO on 12/30 via JFK for $640, 5400 MQM. If you can drive up to CHA, CHA-ATL-SFO and back on 12/30 would be $560. BHM-ATL-SAN looks like another possibility.

For more responses, you might try moving your question to the Mileage Run Discussion subforum.

NEED only 347 MQMs. HELP.

Hello flyertalk folks-

To make a very long story short, I need 347 MQMs to make it to Platinum. The catch is, I can not fly as I just broke my ankle and had surgery.

I have:
Received 10,000 MQMs through my credit card
Received 1500 MQMs by renewing my sky club membership

Which leaves me 347 miles SHORT.

I had to cancel a trip due to my surgery...

The only option I have found is to buy 2500 miles.

ARE there any other options???

thank you in advance!!!

Is the Hilton promo still running? It might be over. Every 2-night stay earns 250MQM. You could do 2 of those quickly. Good luck!

Couldn't find the thread either but try this:

https://dn.delta.com/skymiles/purchasemqms/buy/landing

Purchase MQM's expire Dec 15. 2500 MQM for about $300.

I just wish I didn't have to pay so much for so few miles but if they roll over it's at least an option.

If you're not able to fly, buying them from Delta is your only option at this point (since you've already gotten the credit card miles)

I would compare to $600 5k MQM Tcon which is about what I price through the end of this year. Just keep in mind the Dec 15 deadline to act.
