Please don't dis Lady Gaga. I'm very much looking forward to her performance with Tony Bennett at Jazz Fest on Sunday.

Back in the day, I used to be a huge Lady Gaga fan, even skipping school and flying to NYC for a concert once. I've scaled back quite a bit lol, but she is nonetheless incredibly talented.

I took BoltBus to Philly over the summer one day primarily for that reason, and have done one-way bus trips more recently

Good point, although I was home by the time the train got to NYC If I was going to wait until 4am for a train, I might as well have waited for a 6am IAD-JFK/BOS/anywhere!

If it was 15, it would not have been an excellent day.

I'm sure you'll find out eventually.

So, now in BOS after surviving experience that was a 5am LAX-ORD, followed by 35 minute connection in ORD (arrived in H8, out of K15) to get on ORD-BOS. Hopefully my newly minted MM status (thanks of the merger of my AA and US miles) will help me get either an upgrade or at least a better seat on BOS-LAX on Sunday.

5am is not that bad a Union Station--now 1-1:30am, is another story entirely. But, as far as I know, all roads eventually lead to SE DC.

Actually, IIRC, the quoted example was waiting through that wonderful timeslot all the way to 5 am ....

Somehow, the ominous threat of us "finding out eventually" have me starting to think about terrorist scenarios. After all, how would I, living in Belgium, find out about the antics of a Massachusetts based lounger?

Inquiring minds still wonder!

True, although the sketchiest place that I've ever waited for a train is a tie: Baltimore and Richmond.
