Flew yesterday across the aisle (in more ways than 1 ) from Eric Cantor in F ORD/ATL. I wasn't sure at first, but he always seems to wear the same shoes on TV. I'm also not really sure why I even notice his shoes?! Lol!

I heard later that it was on TV that he was indeed, in a meeting in Chicago with presidential hopefuls.

There was a thread not too long ago, I believe he was spotted at the T4 JFK SC.

So I think this counts for half a point: A Rod Stewart impersonator at the ATL A17 Skyclub. He looks like like him...no idea how he sings though.

Did you think he was sexy?

I chatted at a gate in LAX with Maya Warren, one of the two "sweet scientists" who won the last Amazing Race. This was in early December; she knew the outcome of the race (she said the last episodes were filmed in June) but did not reveal it except to say that she and her partner were the only women to make it to the final episode. Not a huge celebrity but fun to talk with, especially for me as the upcoming episode that week was set in Singapore, from where I was just returning. My six-year-old granddaughter, a new Amazing Race fan this year, was very impressed that I'd met this contestant!

That's more than I recognize, especially the sports people. But I am quite a lot older than most posters on this forum.

I always feel better when most of these "celebrity" sightings are accompanied by who they are/what they do. Makes me think that they really aren't that famous after all.
